A Home Where the Mountains Are Your Closest Neighbour

Here, the mountains are the first thing you notice in the morning. Your phone can wait. This detached villa is located in Ovacık — the green side of Fethiye between the town and Ölüdeniz, where the landscape becomes part of the architecture and the mountains seem to come almost all the way to the house. 180 m². A 4+1 layout. Four bathrooms. Four bedrooms offer a rare kind of freedom in a holiday destination: enough room for family, enough room for friends, and no need to turn the living room into an extra bedroom every time someone decides to stay the night. The architecture is contemporary and refreshingly straightforward — generous glazing, natural light and open living spaces. Panoramic windows bring the mountain landscape inside, while spacious balconies and terraces extend the house outdoors. And then there is the private garden. A large swimming pool with a separate shallow section, space for sun loungers, green lawn and enough room for long breakfasts, evening wine, barbecues and those days when plans are cancelled simply because staying home feels better. Ovacık adds its own cooler microclimate and quieter rhythm. Nearby are the restaurants and amenities of Hisarönü, Fethiye itself and one of Türkiye’s most recognisable landscapes — Ölüdeniz. The villa is ready to live in and works equally well as a private home, holiday residence or seasonal rental property. It is also presented as suitable for investment and may qualify for Türkiye’s citizenship programme subject to the applicable requirements at the time of purchase. This is one of those rare homes where the swimming pool is not even the main attraction. Because you can build a pool. You cannot build the mountains opposite.
